DESCRIPTION:When\n01/20/2014\n\n \n7:30 AM – 7:30 PM\n\nLocation\nLodi\, CA\n\n\nThis is a special event that may be attended by participating members and their children or grandchildren.  City of Lodi secures a grant which enables the Storm Drain Detectives (Lodi HIgh School students who monitor for City of Lodi on the Mokelumne River) to get out on the Delta for a day aboard the Marine Institutes Ship.  This day is filled with Activities both on the water and off.\n\nThe day begins in Lodi where you board the bus headed for Lodi Lake.  You then moves to East Bay Regional Park @ Oakley\, Ca for a visual tour of the Delta.  The bus then arrives in Antioch where you board the ship for an afternoon of scientific discovery.  Enjoy working with your hands through 4 stations including learning what creatures live in the sediment under the delta\, what types of fish live in the Delta and monitor the water quality.  This is a free event.\n\nContact Kathy Grant ( kathygrant@sbcglobal.net ) – for further information
